Privacy Policy

Last updated: this is a starter draft — have it reviewed by counsel before publishing, especially regarding location-data handling under Indian data protection law.

What we collect

• Account info: if you sign in, we receive your name, email or phone number, and profile photo from Firebase Authentication.
• Location: if you allow it, your device's GPS coordinates, used only to sort restaurants by distance and never stored against your account.
• Search activity: what you search and filter by, used to return results and improve recommendations.
• Chat messages with Fitbot: sent to our chat service to extract your preferences (budget, cuisine, etc.) and return matching restaurants.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data. Your browser never talks to our restaurant database directly — all restaurant data is served through our own backend, which is one reason we can keep that database locked down.

Who we share data with

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and Groq for processing Fitbot conversations. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments; we don't hand data to anyone else for marketing purposes.

Your choices

You can deny location access at any time in your browser settings — Fitinyour will still work, just without distance sorting. You can sign out at any time from the header menu. To request deletion of your account data, email fitinyour24x7@gmail.com.
